UPO "Federation of Sporting"

The main task of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Federation of Sporting” is the development of all types of Sporting in Ukraine.

Representatives of the Federation of Sporting are already in fourteen regions of the country, experts in this kind of sport - in eleven areas. In 2008 two competitions at the national level were held. They were attended by about 70 athletes.

Shooting grounds for Sporting, built for own funds, have created over the last year shooting clubs “Bekas” (Kherson), “Baron M” (Kharkov), “Arsenal” (Rivne), “Black Stones” (Crimea),    “Sporting” (Odessa), ”Sporting-Master” (Donetsk). Competitions and training are maintained by own means of participants.
Sporting has good prospects for development due to the large number of small courses, very complex and relatively simple ones, and «democracy» in sports rules, this sport can engage people of different ages and qualification – both beginners, and former trap shooting sportsmen’s. There is no need to have a fixed site with facilities and expensive equipment, just a few projectile machines and open areas outside the city to train beginners.
 

Targets: 

The main target of the federation is the development and implementation of development programs for shooting sports as a means of physical education to promote health, healthy living, promotion and development of Sporting (trap shooting). 
 

Tasks:

  • attraction people, especially youth, to take shooting sports
  • promotion skills of athletes, qualification of coaches and referees
  • improving the physical and aesthetic development of citizens
  • promoting and facilitating the development of all types of Sporting (trap shooting);
  • increase the number of sports clubs, offices, clubs for Sporting (trap shooting), facilitating the development of Sporting in the Ukraine, a worthy representation of these types of sport  at the international sporting competitions.
  • promotion the role of Sporting (trap shooting) in the full and harmonious development of personality, health, healthy living of the population;
  • perfecting a system of training highly skilled athletes, coaches, judges, ensuring successful performance of Ukrainian athletes at sports competitions;
  • to promote and strengthen relationships with international and other sports federations, associations, unions,  promotion activities of its members in international and other sports organizations and associations;
  • propaganda and promotion of shooting sports among the population

Directions:

  • provision of practical, organizational and methodological assistance to local cells of the Federation;
  • to propose to the executive authorities, including Goskomsport, concerning development of Sporting;
  • development and approval time schedule of sports competitions on Sporting, participated in organizing and conducting sporting events, meetings and other activities at the territory of Ukraine and beyond its borders, in accordance with the rules of competition;
  • participation in the development of appraisal performance of judges, coaches and athletes, the organization and conduct of training and qualification of  coaches and judges;
  • the implementation of economic and other business activities by creating a self-supporting agencies and organizations with rights of legal entity, foundations;
  • production of the official and reward attributes with symbols of the Federation;
  • secondments abroad of Ukrainian and reception in Ukraine of foreign delegations and specialists, cooperation on matters connected with the activities of the Federation,  international clubs, organizations and companies, as well as individuals;
  • collecting, colligation, studying and expanding best practices in Sporting, participation in the organization and conduct of research, publication of teaching, background information and other materials, scientific and practical conferences, seminars and symposia.
  • promotion of participation in the construction and operation of sports facilities;
  • presentation of material in the prescribed manner to the attribution of sports titles, encouraging coaches, judges and other professionals;
  • creation of cooperation with other organizations, clubs, schools, units and other units;
  • use of other forms of activities in accordance with Ukrainian legislation, the Statute of the International Sporting Federation and current situation.
